Description:
This Hoprime item basalt fiber roving is a bundle of good continuous filaments combined into a discrete strand and wound into a cylindrical package without twist.
Direct roving: it is spooled direct after handling with sizing.
Assembled roving: it is a multi-end continuous roving.
Twisted yarn: S-twist and Z-twist yarns are the direction in which the yarn is spun is called twist.
Compared with traditional meterial, carbon fiber yarn has many advantages such as high stiffness, high tensile strength, low weight, high temperature tolerance and low thermal expansion. These make the weight greatly reduced.

By its technical characteristics, Basalt roving surpasses S-glass and E-glass by many parameters, and is almost as good as carbon. Basalt roving is extremely heat resistant: long-use temperature range is 200-680 degree. Temporarily it can work in up to 900 degree

Application:
Weaving acid and alkali resistant and high temperature resistant cloth and tape
Needle-punched felt base cloth
Base cloth for electrical insulation board
Yarn, sewing and cord for electrical insulation
High-grade temperature-resistant and chemical-resistant fabrics
High-grade insulation materials such as: motor, electrical appliances, electromagnetic wires
High temperature resistant, high elasticity, high modulus and high strength cloth yarn
After special surface treatment: radiation-proof, heat-resistant yarn for woven fabrics
